The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation was created for the purpose of elevating the living standard of the good people of Delta State with the aim of making life more meaningful for all especially women through economic empowerment and sustainable programmes that would lead to self-employment and economic self-reliance.The present administration through the Micro Credit Scheme has embarked on various empowerment programmes to empower the people in different Vocational Skills and also lend money to entrepreneurs to start their own business.
