Roli Nere Uduaghan, homemaker, seasoned educationist and philanthropist, mother of two lovely children, is the wife of the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan. She was born on the 27th of September 1961 into the prestigious family of Brigadier General Sunny Esijolomi Tuoyo (RTD).
She attended Our Lady’s Preparatory School Sapele, for her early education and Hussey College Warri where she obtained her secondary school certificate in flying colors. She attended college of education Warri, where she obtained a National Certificate of Education (NCE).
In her quest for excellence and knowledge, she proceeded to the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she earned a Bachelors degree in Guidance and Counseling and Masters in Educational Administration. Mrs. Roli Nere Uduaghan started her working experience at Army Primary School Gombe, in 1983 during her National Youth Service, and later became a tutor in Hussey College Warri, from 1984-1996.
Her love and desire for improving the quality of lives of the young and disadvantaged motivated her to take up an appointment as a Youth Development Officer for the Shell Development Company Warri, 1997-2005. Mrs. Uduaghan’s great love for cooking led her to participate in the 1987 regional Maggi Cooking Competition where she came out first at the zonal level, and third position at the national level.
The entrepreneurial spirit in her took over as she established a recreational /fast food/ African kitchen – OTRES which she managed until she assumed her role as the First Lady of Delta State. She is a philanthropist who has dedicated her life to caring for the less privileged in the society particularly widows and orphans, this she has been doing through the Master Care Foundation.
Master Care is a non-Governmental organization that has been working tirelessly to provide succor for the needy, empowerment for women, free medical attention for women and children and scholarship for orphans in Delta State. Mrs. Roli Nere Uduaghan who has bagged several awards, is a blessing to this generation, she has a HEART OF GOLD.
