The State School of Marine Technology was established by the James Ibori Adminiration to provide middle level manpower in Marine Technology. In continuation of the past efforts of the James Ibori Administration, the new Administration of Dr. Udughan completed and adopted the feasibility study for the take off of the School. The present administration also embarked on the award of contract for necessary projects for accreditation and full take off of the School.
In continuation of the programmes and policies of the last administration in the transport sector and in infrastructural development, the present Administration has continued to provide traffic control devices in major roads of the State in order to reduce accidents on the road. On the Urban Mass Transit Scheme, the present administration has continued with the policy of providing cheap and affordable transportation for Deltans through the Delta State Transport Services Ltd.
