Delta states Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, will tomorrow Tuesday July 15, 2008 inaugurate the state's vision 2020 council and steering committee. A government statement released by the Director of Information, Mr. Austin Mowah, said the ceremony will hold at the Nnebisi Hall, Grand Hotel, Asaba at 11:00am. It enjoined top government functionaries, Political elite, captains of industry Traditional Rulers and other stake-holders in the state project to attend the ceremony.

The list of members of the council and steering committee as chaired by the Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan includes the Deputy Governor, Prof. Amos Utuama (SAN) Senator Felix Ibru, Chief James Ibori, Chief B.S.C. Elue, Senator Patrick Osakwe, Senator Adegor Eferakeya, Senator James Manager, Hon. Halims Agoda, Chief (Mrs) Grace Ikpiwhre, Chief Godsday Orubebe, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Majority Leader of the House, and Dr. Gamaliel Onosode.

Others are Chief Philip Asiodu, Prof. Emmanuel Edozien, Chief Allison Ayida, Chief Sonny Odogwu, Dr. (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Prof. Sam Oyovobaire and Prof. J.P. Clarke, Prof. M. On the list of the Steering Committee are Commissioners for Economic Planning as chairman, all commissioners, all Special Advisers to the Governor, All Permanent Secretaries while that of Economic Planning will be the secretary.
