Raymon Bolowei Guanah was born on the 25th October 1962 in Sapele. He hails from Abari Town, Patani Local Government Area
and attended Omarin (C.M.S.) Primary School, Sapele (First School Leaving Certificate -1974), Western Boys' High School, Benin City (West African School Certificate (WASC)-1980), Bendel State University, Ekpoma (L.L.B (Law)- 1985) and Nigeria Law School, Lagos B.L. (Barrister at Law)-1986

He is a Member, Nigeria Bar Association, Associate Member, Nigeria Institute of Management, Member, Nigeria Insurance Law Association and Member, Nigeria Maritime Law Association and has worked as; 1. Legal Officer (NYSC) Agro Services Cooperation, Odeda, Ogun State -1986 -1987, 2. Private Legal Practitioner -1987-1999, 3. Executive Chairman, Patani- 1999-2002, Local Government Council, 4. Private Legal Practitioner/Columnist.-200-2003 The Pointer Newspaper Asaba, 5. Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor - 2003-2005 and 6. Political Adviser to the Delta State Governor 2006-2007.
