That this Honourable House calls on His Excellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori of Delta State to direct the Commissioners of Education and Special Duties to take urgent steps to ameliorate the truamatic condition faced by students of Delta State University, Oleh law Campus that were affected by a recent fire incident by: (1) Sending relief materials in form of cash donations to the affected students to provide succour to them after taking inventory of the losses. (2). that the state government should as a matter of urgency and priority build new Hostel accomodation for students of the University as the only few structures are dilapidated, old and weak, this not befitting for students of higer learning as they are inherited structures. |
