Publication of Daily Pointer Continues

The Ministry of Information wishes to inform all readers of the state-owned Pointer Newspaper, Deltans as well as the general public that publication of the daily title has not been discontinued as may have been insinuated in some quarters.

Let it be on record that the Ministry has not authorized any purported suspension of the daily Pointer title in deference to the repackaged and re-branded Sunday edition of the paper. The point must be made clear and emphatically too, that the re-branded Sunday title is intended to serve as a flagship for the overall re-engineering, revamping, and repositioning of the Pointer Newspaper of the Delta State Government. All other titles of the paper are therefore to run concurrently.

The Ministry hereby reassures all steadfast readers of the Pointer and Deltans in general that the Daily Pointer will continue to be on the news stand on a daily basis while no effort is spared to ensure a success of the overhauling process towards having a totally re-packaged and new look Pointer titles as reflected in the flagship Sunday edition.
