Uredi Omohoro Ross was born on March 12, 1963 in Lagos. He hails from Isoko South and is a christian. He attended Notre Dame College, Ozoro where he got his West African School Certificate 1975 - 1980, Federal School for Arts and Science, Victoria Island, Lagos; West African School Certificate 1981 - 1982, Federal Government College, Ilorin, Kwara State; Advanced Level Certificate, 1982 - 1984 and University of Lagos, Akoka-Lagos; B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology 1985 - 1988. 

Mr Uredi has worked as Member, Delta State House of Assembly- Representing Isoko South Constituency I, 2003-2007 during which time he was Chairman, DTHA Committee on Oil and Gas, Member, DTHA Committee on Finance and Appropriations, Member, DTHA Committee on Health, Member, DTHA Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy, Member, DTHA Committee on Water Resources.

He aslo held the position of Chairman/Managing Director at various times during the above time frame, in the following companies: Ferou Nigeria Limited - Hotels and General Construction, Rossurd Nigeria Limited - Pharmaceuticals, Trading, Import and Export, Camarilo Nigeria Limited - General Construction, Still Energy Limited - Oil Services, Westside Hotels - Hotels, Boulevard Hotels - Hotels

He hold the following chieftaincy titles in recognition for my contribution to community growth, service and development: Oza Udu of Emede Kingdom, Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State,
Agbadede of Onogboko Kingdom- Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State and Kpakpando of Adia-Ubiaka - Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State

He is married with children.
