Delta State has scores of attractions that are simply compelling. Fascinating palaces, historic sites, monuments, birthplaces of famous people, traditional festival, crafts centres - name it - are all here. Examples are:

NANA's PALACE, KOKO

This is a Living History Museum, the only one in Nigeria. It was built by Chief Nana Olomu of Ebrohim. He was a powerful nineteenth century indigenous entrepreneur. The magnificent edifice is a reflection of his grandeur. His personal effects are housed in it and they portray his enlightened contact with the British Empire under Queen Victoria. Koko is in Warri North Local Government Area. Access is by road through Warri to Koko.
